Laurence Ledrut is Head of Process Safety at Origin Energy. She has two Masters of Engineering, in Safety and Environmental Risk Prevention, and Engineering Sciences (Chemical). She is a Fellow Engineer and Chartered Professional Engineer with Engineers Australia, Registered Professional Engineer QLD, Functional Safety Engineer (TUV certified), Associate Member of IChemE and Justice of the Peace (Qual). She specializes in Process Engineering and Process Safety Engineering with 19 years of experience covering the lifecycle of assets, across Europe and Pacific. She is passionate about building an open learning culture and collaboration, to prevent future major hazard accidents.

Chris’ career has spanned operational assets across QGC and APA; he has held various role within APA’s Integrated Operations Centre an in field-operations leadership. Chris leads the technical support to the Control Room and Commercial Operations teams, and is exposed to all aspects of frontline safety, reliability, and efficiency. Chris’ other responsibilities include managing operational capacity out to the medium time horizon, and leads APA’s dedicated operational emissions reduction team.

Stuart is a chemical and environmental engineer with over 28 years’ experience in process safety, risk management, and environmental engineering. He has been involved in providing risk management and process safety services for upstream and downstream energy industries, renewable energy facilities, industrial chemical and critical infrastructure projects, as well as to regulators. Sherpa is a member of the IChemE Safety Center.
