She has over 25 years of technical and leadership experience in top tier oil and gas companies (Santos Ltd/ExxonMobil) and as a principal risk consultant at GPA. She has a track record of delivering significant safety and reliability risk reduction programs and projects in both operations and design environments. Lisa has broad experience in risk reduction, leadership, reliability & maintenance, and process engineering.

Peter is a Professor of Chemical and Process Engineering at the University of Canterbury and has held various leadership roles at the University over the last 27 years. His teaching responsibilities have cut across many areas of chemical engineering with a particular focus on process safety. His research interests are in bioprocess engineering, looking at both the production of biochemical products and environmental biotreatment technologies. Current active projects include biofiltration, denitrification and microbial fuel cells. He is a Fellow of both IChemE and Engineering NZ.

His academic vision emphasises quality, efficiency, and safety in teaching and research practices. A prominent researcher, David focuses on pioneering sustainable technologies that enable the decarbonisation of industrial processes, with a current emphasis on the sustainable manufacture of semiconductors and recycling of e-waste. He also chairs key forums at the university, ensuring strategic alignment and collaboration across faculties, furthering his commitment to environmental sustainability and academic excellence. David Lewis is a trailblazer whose career seamlessly integrates leadership, innovation, and a dedication to global progress.
